Welcome to MagicM (“MagicM”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). MagicM is a photo editing application that uses artificial intelligence to remove unwanted objects, lines, blemishes, and backgrounds from images (“App”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.

1. Information We Collect

MagicM is designed to respect your privacy. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) unless you voluntarily provide it (for example, by contacting support through third-party channels). However, the App may process certain data to function properly.

1.1 Images and Photo Data

All images you select for editing (including photos you import, capture, or modify) are processed locally on your device. The AI eraser, object removal, line removal, cloning, and healing tools operate entirely on-device whenever possible. We do not upload your original or edited images to any external server unless explicitly stated for specific cloud features (which MagicM currently does not implement). Your images never leave your device without your explicit action (e.g., sharing a final result via system share sheet).

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

To improve app performance, stability, and user experience, we may collect anonymous, non-personal usage data through standard mobile analytics frameworks. This may include:

All such analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify any specific individual. You may opt-out of analytics collection by adjusting your device settings (Limit Ad Tracking) or disabling analytics in the App’s settings if applicable.

1.3 No Account, No Profile

MagicM does not require user registration. We do not maintain user profiles, login credentials, or any database that links you to your editing history. Your edited photos remain solely on your device unless you choose to save or share them.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because MagicM does not collect personal data (like names, emails, or identifiers), the use of data is extremely limited to:

3. Third-Party Access & Services

MagicM may use trusted third-party software development kits (SDKs) to provide analytics and crash reporting. These SDKs are configured to collect only anonymous, non-personal device information. Below is a summary of current integrations (subject to change with app updates):

Any third-party service provider is contractually required to protect the information and may not use it for any other purpose. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of such third parties. However, because MagicM does not transfer any photos or personally identifiable information, the risk remains minimal.

MagicM’s core feature — object removal, line eraser, mesh detection, cloning, and background cleanup — runs locally on your iPhone or iPad. Your images are never uploaded to any cloud server for editing. This ensures your content stays private.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not store your images on any external server, you retain full control over all visual content. Your original photos and edited versions remain in your device’s local storage or photo library. If you delete the MagicM app, any temporary files created during editing are automatically removed by the iOS sandbox environment. We do not retain any copies of your photos after editing is complete.

Analytics and crash data are retained in anonymized form for a reasonable period to improve the app’s stability and features. You may request deletion of any such aggregated data, but because it contains no personal identifiers, it is not attributable to any individual.

5. Children’s Privacy

MagicM is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us through the appropriate channel (the App Store support page). If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete such information immediately. Since we do not collect account information or personal data, this situation is extremely unlikely.

6. Security Measures

We take the security of your data seriously. Because all image processing happens locally, the primary risks are related to device security. We recommend that you keep your device operating system and MagicM app updated to the latest version. We use industry-standard technical measures (encryption at rest within iOS sandbox, secure data deletion) to protect any temporary files created during editing. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Other Regions)

Depending on your location, you may have certain legal rights regarding your personal information. Because MagicM does not collect personal data (such as name, email, or identifier), many of these rights are inherently satisfied. However, we provide the following transparency:

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information (e.g., through a bug), please report it via the App Store support page, and we will investigate and delete any such data.

8. International Data Transfers

MagicM does not transfer your photos or any personal information across borders because processing is on-device. Anonymous analytics data may be processed on servers located in various countries (depending on the third-party analytics provider). However, such data is aggregated and does not contain personally identifiable information. By using the App, you consent to this limited, anonymous transfer.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy. Your continued use of MagicM after any modifications to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified terms.

10. No Third-Party Advertising

MagicM does not display any third-party advertisements. We do not use advertising networks that track your activity across other apps or websites. Your usage within MagicM remains strictly inside the app and is not shared for ad targeting or profiling.

11. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

MagicM may offer premium features or a one-time purchase option (“Pay once, use forever”). All in-app purchase transactions are handled exclusively by Apple’s App Store (StoreKit). We do not collect, process, or store any payment information (credit card details, billing addresses, etc.). Apple’s privacy policy governs the processing of your payment data. For any questions regarding your purchase, please refer to Apple’s support or review your iTunes account.

12. No Contact Information Required

This Privacy Policy intentionally does not contain specific contact information such as email addresses, physical addresses, or phone numbers, as requested. If you have questions about your privacy or this policy, please use the “Contact” option inside the App Store listing support section or the App’s support page on the official App Store. We will respond through the channel provided by Apple.
